BISC Race Schedule • March 12, 2022
TOGA TOGA TOGA!!!
There will be one BISC Event at Log Cabin on March 12
We will be following current racing guidelines used in the Yukon. Rather than having mass starts, there will be self-timing with each registered racer receiving a timing stick during a starting window on race day. See times below. We plan on having a 5K kids course, and 10K and 25K adult courses.
REGISTRATION NOW CLOSED- Opened Online through Zone 4 Feb. 23- March 10. See Race Entry page for details and Zone 4 links. Cost is $25 per person, regardless of age. Each racer will receive a shirt and timing stick at Log Cabin. Registration closed at 9 p.m. Alaska time on March 10.
PROOF OF COVID VACCINATION REQUIRED (BC Government requirement) for anyone 12 and over. Bring your cards or proof of vaccination to Log Cabin when you pick up your shirt and timing stick. Unfortunately, due to COVID, we will not be hosting any functions in Skagway before or after the event this year. Please stay safe everyone!
IMPORTANT! If you are coming from Skagway you will need to fill out your information on the ArriveCAN app to cross the border (check https://travel.gc.ca/travel-covid for latest border rules including test results procedures). Allow an extra 1 hour so you do not miss the starting window.
PARKING – Please car pool if you can. Parking will be limited to the main Log Cabin lot. No parking on the highway. Any overflow parking will have to be at the highway turnout up the hill south of Log Cabin. There will be a shuttle between parking areas.
PRIZE FOR BEST COSTUME – TOGA, TOGA, TOGA!!! Upper Dewey Lake cabin package this summer from Skagway Rec. Center with one-way flight by TEMSCO Helicopters.
SUPPORT OUR LOG CABIN WARMING HUT FUND – Make a donation on your registration form. Any donation over $10 will also include an LCSS Membership!
